    Fabulous

helpful staff at reception. Shop in lobby ( for the hospital ) is very convenient for travellers arriving late, as I did. Internet access was good.

It's hard to tell where the hotel ends and the hospital begins! My room was well equipped but small and there is little "character" to the place rooms or public areas. Apart from "hospital" . I haven't stayed at other hotels in Stavanger so don't know how it compares.

    Superb

Great Staff, Fantastic breakfast, it is a hospital hotel, so Very quiet.

    Good

Pretty quiet place - plus we had a nice view on the bay

For the same price you can get a hotel downtown Stavanger (this was a good 25 min walk). Thus is actually a hostpital - a lot of patients around, shared canteen. All is a great condition, but not what I was looking for during my holiday.

    Very good

If you can't get a hotel down in the centre of the town - this is a good alternative. Restaurant, while being nothing fancy - is actually very good. Breakfasts are also up there with the best hotels. The reception, being part of the hotel has sandwiches, drinks etc available all the time.

    Superb

The breakfast was excellent. Staff was very helpful. I would like to thank Ms Maria, the receptionist who was of great help in all queries.

The location of the hotel is not the right location. The hospital is right inside a hospital. You see patients all over. Even the cafeteria is at a place where there are a lot of patience. Thus it gives an unpleasant feeling while you are eating and patients are all around you. Rest is fine.

    Fabulous

The hotel is a good 20 min walk from the city centre on foot. The room was a good size, basic but everything worked. The shower was excellent and we didn't hear a thing from any of the other rooms. The breakfast buffet was the better than that of many upmarket UK hotels, fresh and varied with more than enough to keep you going all day. The only fault that I could find was that my bed was a little bit soft!

Some people may find sharing a hotel with patients from the hospital odd but wasn't a problem for us

    Superb

The sleeping bed was wonderful. I'd never slept that well in 25years! Pity I could not find the the mattress to check the brand name or I would have ordered one! Must be what they do to you at the hospital: give you a good rest and you are nursed back to health.

Nothing really. Family was somewhat small but Norway likes to optimize space.

    Fabulous

Great for an overnight. Offers excellent cafe and grocery store on premises. Rooms are very clean. Breakfast was included in rate.

Location outside city center, away from tourist areas. Hotel desk located inside hospital front lobby made it difficult to find. Call ahead for directions if you are unsure.

Very bad attitude, because it is hospital hotel, and breakfast with "ill" people it was very terrible

    Exceptional

It was so clean, and there were movies on TV. But the BREAKFAST was amazing! Everything you could dream of . . . and much more! . . . oh and the noon check-out was pretty sweet, too!

The hotel was fab! :) The only thing that would make it better would be if it was closer to the city center.

    Superb

Fascinating to be part of working hospital, complete with lots newborn babies and air ambulance helo! Excellent range of good cheap (for Norway) food - but absolutely NO gourmet experience.

Slightly odd omissions as an hotel - poor storage in room and ensuite, no 'goodies' and you need to use your room key to make the lifts function (preventing public access into the hotel floors).

    Good

service, possibilities for breakfast, lunch and dinner

distance to Forum distance to city centre

    Very good

Good, modern rooms at competative price! The hotel is connected to the hospital,(same lobby) with a small shop/snackbar Parking is expensive, I paid Nok 34,- (from 18.00 to 20.00) AND Nok 100,- for the night. Parking on the (nearly empty) parking place for the staf is much more expensive (Nok500,- penalty) and they check nearly every evening !!!!

I do not like the parking policy Would sggest to give guest a 24 h. Pass for Nok 50,-

    Very good

The breakfast is very good. Easy access to city center by bus. The rooms and bathroom are very good. The hotel hosts parents of recent birth babies of the maternity nearby. We never have seen this, but we think that is a nice idea.

Along the corridors of the hotel, we see some hospital equipments, which make the ambiance a bit depressive. The address of the hotel was not matching with our GPS address (we tried with 2 different GPSs), so we waste 1/2 hour walking seaching the hotel.

    Very good

Good hotel, but for most for most people it is weird to experience you stay in a hotel attached to a hospital. The set up is ideal for patients and it family.
